Confidence, self-belief and assertiveness

In the ‘make-believe’ world of social media it seems that confidence abounds but it just isn’t so! In fact I think that, if anything, the false ‘perfect life’ often portrayed has the effect of making people aware that they themselves just don’t possess the self-belief and self-confidence they would like to have. Every week I receive emails from people telling me that they just don’t seem to have the courage to speak up for themselves either in the workplace or in their personal life. Often low confidence and self-esteem may have been at the root of mild depression too.

Luckily help is very much at hand

There is so much that can be done through hypnotherapy to boost self-esteem and build confidence and learn assertiveness skills. It will probably entail the relief, and often delight, in clearing out old, faulty beliefs about ‘not being good enough’ that have been a hindrance in the past.

Inner resources

Then comes the process of discovering, or re-discovering and / or building inner resources that help with the realisation that they (or you) are plenty good enough and everyone has the right to their own opinion. Of course there are appropriate ways to give our opinions and speak up because assertiveness doesn’t mean aggression … it means being comfortable with yourself, who you are and the ability and the right to speak up appropriately in any situation professionally and personally.
Once again there is a choice of how you want to approach this, in person or through hypnosis downloads. It may be that you would first like to listen to the audio in the comfort and privacy of your own home and, if necessary, follow it up with a one-to-one session.
